Job Summary

The Purchase Executive is responsible for procuring materials, furniture, fixtures, hardware, electrical items, plumbing materials, finishing products, and services required for interior fit-out projects. The role ensures timely procurement, cost optimization, quality compliance, and smooth coordination with vendors, project teams, and site engineers.

Key Responsibilities1. Material Procurement
Procure interior fit-out materials as per project requirements.
Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs).
Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
Track pending orders and follow up with vendors.
Vendor Management
Identify and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
Obtain quotations and compare prices.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.




Maintain vendor database and performance records.
Cost Control
Compare quotations to achieve cost-effective purchasing.
Ensure procurement within the approved project budget.
Support cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
Coordination
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Store Team, and Accounts.
Ensure procurement aligns with project schedules.
Resolve material shortages and urgent procurement requirements.
Documentation
Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs, invoices, and delivery challans.
Prepare procurement reports and purchase trackers.
Ensure all procurement documents are properly filed and updated.
Inventory Support
Monitor stock availability.
Coordinate with stores for material requirements.
Avoid excess inventory and material shortages.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications.
