Key Responsibilities
Set up and prepare 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machining centres for production.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and process sheets.
Load and set fixtures, cutting tools, and work offsets according to setup documentation.
Perform tool presetting, tool length/radius compensation, and machine calibration.
Conduct first-off inspection and ensure components meet quality requirements.
Optimise machining parameters to improve productivity, tool life, and cycle time.
Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvements.
Support CAM programmers during prove-out and new product introduction (NPI).




Perform tool changes, offset corrections, and routine machine maintenance.
Maintain a secure, clean, and organised work environment following 5S practices.
Work closely with Production, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams to achieve production targets.

Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Setter in a precision manufacturing environment.
Robust experience with 3, 4 & 5-axis CNC machining centres.
Hands-on experience with Siemens, FANUC, and/or Heidenhain CNC controllers.
Valuable knowledge of CNC milling operations and machining principles.
Ability to read engineering drawings and understand GD&T.;
Experience setting up fixtures, vises, hydraulic fixtures, and precision tooling.
Knowledge of cutting tools, inserts, tool holders, and machining parameters.
Experience machining Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Inconel is preferred.
