Job Summary:
The Purchase Executive is responsible for procurement of construction materials, vendor management, and ensuring timely availability of resources at the site. The role focuses on cost-effective purchasing, maintaining quality standards, and supporting uninterrupted project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
Handle end-to-end procurement of civil construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, finishing materials, etc.)
Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors/suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability
Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per project requirements
Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
Ensure timely delivery of materials at site to avoid project delays
Coordinate with site engineers, store, and accounts team for material planning and billing
Maintain proper documentation of purchase records, invoices, and vendor contracts




Monitor market trends and price fluctuations to optimize procurement cost
Track inventory levels in coordination with store department
Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures

Required Qualifications:
Graduate / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
6+ years of experience in procurement within construction industry
Should have relevant experience in Civil Construction industry

Required Skills:
Solid knowledge of construction materials and local vendor market
Negotiation and vendor management skills
Positive understanding of BOQ and project requirements
Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Zoho, SAP preferred)
Robust coordination and communication skills

Location - Patiala, Punjab

Pay: ₹20,000.52 - ₹40,000.90 per month
