Key Responsibilities
Prepare laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials for science practical sessions.
Assist science teachers during laboratory experiments and demonstrations.
Ensure laboratory safety procedures are followed at all times.
Clean, organize, and maintain laboratory equipment and workspaces.
Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and report shortages.
Properly label, store, and dispose of chemicals and laboratory waste according to safety guidelines.
Keep records of laboratory equipment, materials, and maintenance activities.
Perform basic maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment where required.
Support the setup of science exhibitions, projects, and competitions.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Science, Laboratory Technology, or a related field.
Previous experience in a school or educational laboratory is preferred.
Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and chemical handling procedures.
Valuable organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
