Position Summary

The EY Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in creating a secure, stimulating, and positive classroom environment. The role involves assisting with lesson implementation, classroom management, student supervision, learning activities, and maintaining a caring atmosphere that encourages every child's development.

Key ResponsibilitiesClassroom Support
Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and conducting daily classroom activities.




Prepare and organize learning materials, teaching aids, and classroom resources.
Support children during learning centres, group activities, and individual tasks.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly classroom environment.

Student Care & Supervision
Ensure the safety and well-being of students throughout the school day.
Assist children with daily routines, including arrival, departure, snack time, and restroom breaks.
Encourage positive behaviour and positive social habits.
Provide individual attention to children who require additional support.

Learning Support
Reinforce concepts taught by the Lead Teacher through guided activities.
Encourage children's participation, creativity, and communication.
Observe students' progress and share feedback with the Lead Teacher.
Support inclusive learning practices for students with diverse learning needs.
