Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities including journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations.
Handle finalization of accounts, including month-end and year-end closing activities.
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and resolve open items in a timely manner.
Ensure accurate general ledger accounting in line with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and US-based stakeholders/clients for accounting queries and clarifications.
Assist with internal and external audits by providing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Identify process gaps and contribute to improving accounting workflows and controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on experience in US Accounting.
Proven experience in Record to Report (R2R)
accounting and finalization of accounts.
Solid understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
Solid reconciliation skills (bank, balance sheet, intercompany, etc.).
Proficiency with accounting software/ERPs (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, or similar) and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work independently in a remote setup.
Positive written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with US stakeholders.
B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent; CA-Inter/CMA background is a plus.
Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
