Technical Handling and Aircraft maintenance
Performs technical handling activities and tasks as instructed
Assists the Engineer to carry out transit checks, troubleshooting of aircraft, cabin and IFE defects on aircraft compliant with the technical requirements.
Reports (technical) irregularities and progress of work performed to Engineer or Maintenance Manager
Assists the Engineer with post flight paperwork, documentations and stores related tasks.
Maintenance and control of equipment, tools, stores and overall station activities
Performs minor repairs and cleaning activities on tools, and equipment
Maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and facilities.
(Periodic inspections)
Assists in keeping the store and station tidy and compliant with the rules and regulations
Carry out station related activities and task assigned as delegated
The responsibilities and tasks of the position are not limited to the above mentioned and change might occur in concert with direct Manager.
KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE and COMPETENCIES
Knowledge and experience
Basic technical aircraft training
A minimum of 3 years as Aircraft Mechanic (Actual Workplace Training and Internship will not be considered)
Command of English (write, read, speak)
Knowledge of aircraft safety rules and regulations
Knowledge of technical requirements.
Knowledge of non-technical handling procedures and instructions.
Knowledge of MS-office applications.
Ability to read, understand and execute maintenance manual instructions
