Job DescriptionThis is not a loan recovery or credit card collections role. There is no credit score, no regulatory lever, and no asset lock-in behind our receivables. NRecovery here is a value and relationship function. NThe Collection Manager owns end-to-end collections for Quantum Leap Learning Solutions. The role is accountable for converting booked revenue into realised revenue at an 80%+ collection ratio, building a high-performing collections team, designing event-to-event collection strategies, and providing management with accurate revenue visibility through reports and forecasts. NThis is a high-ownership,data-driven role that sits at the intersection of Sales, Finance, and Data, with direct impact on cash flow, refunds, and revenue predictability. NRole OverviewnKeyResponsibilities Nn Company: Quantum Leap Learning Solutions N Designation: Collection Manager N Function: Revenue/Collections N Reports to: Head of Inside Sales Nn1. Collection Performance & Targets N- Deliver 80%+ collections against the total booked amount, event-on-event and month-on-month. N- Own collection KPIs, daily/weekly/monthly targets, and escalation thresholds. N- Drive recovery from partial-paid, overdue, and at-risk clients. N2. Team Leadershipn- Lead, coach, and drive the collections team; set clear responsibilities, SLAs, and individual KRAs. N- Build review cadences (daily huddles, weekly performance reviews) and a culture of accountability. N- Identify capability gaps and run targeted training on objection handling, negotiation, and payment closure. N- Create, develop and ownstrategies which match the brand's values and reputation. N3. Event-to-Event Collection Strategy N- Design and continuouslyimprove collection playbook for each event/program cycle (PACE, BIC, BSW, etc.). N- Define call cadences, communication scripts, follow-up windows, and conversion levers per cohort. N- Benchmark each event's collection performance and embed learnings into the next cycle. N4. Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
on Misses N- Diagnose gaps whenever collection targets are missed by event, segment, ticket size, payment mode, and team member. N- Publish structured RCAswith corrective and preventive actions, and track closure to completion. N5. Cross-functional Partnership (Sales & Data) N- Partner with the Sales & Operations team to share structured feedback on lead quality, commitment quality, and closure hygiene. N- Work with the Data teamto identify revenue leakage, drop-off points in the payment journey, and high-risk cohorts. N- Translate data insightsinto operational actions for both Sales and Collections. N6. NBFC & Financing Partnerships N- Identify, evaluate, andonboard NBFC partners to expand EMI and financing options for clients. N- Negotiate commercial terms, approval TATs, and rejection-rate improvements. N- Own the operational integration between NBFC partners, Sales, and Collections. N7. Payment Plan Design N- Build adaptable, compliant payment plan structures (EMIs, milestone-based plans, deferred plans) to lift conversion of bookings into collections. N- Define eligibility rules, approval matrix, and risk guardrails for each plan. N8. Activation of Partial-Paid & Stuck Pipeline N- Work with Sales to re-engage partial-paid clients and stuck/non-moving booked data. N- Define joint Sales–Collections workflows for prioritization, hand-offs, and closure of dormant pipelines. N9. Refund Minimization N- Build proactive strategies to minimize refunds, early warning signals, save-desk interventions, alternate plan offers, and value reinforcement. N- Track refund reasons, publish trends,
and drive cross-functional fixes at the source. N10. Reporting & Revenue Visibility N- Own and publish the Collection Report (daily/weekly/monthly) and a rolling Collection Forecast for Management. N- Provide clear visibility on booked vs. collected, expected inflows, risks, and recovery actions. N- Present insights and recommendations in leadership reviews. NCandidate ProfilenExperience Nn 5–8+ years in collections, recovery, or revenue operations. N Proven experience leading a collections team in EdTech, BFSI, NBFC, EMI/consumer finance, training/education, or high-ticket B2C environments. N Hands-on experience onboarding and managing NBFC partnerships is strongly preferred. NnSkills & Competencies Nn Strong team leadership and performance management. N Sharp analytical and RCA skills; comfortable with dashboards, Excel/Sheets, and CRM data. N Excellent negotiation, objection handling, and stakeholder management. N Ability to design payment plans and policy frameworks balancing conversion and risk. N Structured reporting and forecasting discipline. N Cross-functional partnership skills works seamlessly with Sales, Data, and Finance.
