Job Description & Summary
Design, build, and unit‑testFinaclecustom components, integrations,
and reports aligned to functional/technical specs. Ensure performance, stability, and compliance across deposits, retail lending, and payments workflows. Collaborate with techno‑functional consultants, testers, and operations teams to deliver high‑quality releases and support SIT/UAT through go‑live.
Responsibilities
- Developcustomizations, interfaces, and reportsin line with approvedTSD/FSD, following bank coding standards and secure coding practices.
- Write efficientSQL/PL‑SQL(procedures, packages, views, triggers), perform query optimization, and manage data transformations/mappings.
- Build and validateintegrationswith Finacle/adjacent systems viaAPIs (REST/SOAP), MQ, file/batch/ETL implement robust error handling, retries, and idempotency.
- Work withFinacle Integrator (FI)or equivalent integration frameworks for service orchestration and message handling.
- SupportEOD/BODjobs and batch processing analyze application/systemlogs on Unix/shell, and implement monitoring hooks where applicable.
- Prepare and executeunit testswith evidence supportSIT/UATby fixing defects, creating test data, and validating edge cases (reversals, chargebacks/returns, reschedules, NPA tagging).
- Package builds, manageversion control(Git/SVN), and collaborate onCI/CDpipelines with release teams maintain deployment and rollback documentation.
- Create and maintaintechnical documentation(low‑level design, config guides, runbooks) and contribute toRCAfor incidents/problem tickets.
- Adhere toSDLC/Agileceremonies, followJira/Confluencehygiene, and contribute to estimation and sprint commitments.
- Ensure solutions align withRBI/KYC‑AML/NPCIguidelines as applicable, and with internalaudit & controlrequirements (maker-checker, audit trails).

Preferred Skill sets:
- Exposure toFinacle Integrator (FI), custom reports/utilities, and performance tuning.
- Awareness ofpaymentsflows (UPI/IMPS/NEFT/RTGS), reconciliations, and basics ofISO 8583/ISO 20022.
- Experience withDevOps/CI‑CD,Git/SVN, and job schedulers familiarity withJira/Confluenceand ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow).
- Knowledge ofsecurity & compliancepractices (PII protection, audit logging) andITIL/Agile ways of working.
- StrongExcel&PowerPointskills for producing test evidence and release notes.
Years of Experience Required:
2-4 yearsof hands‑on development inFinacle(or equivalent core‑banking platform) across deposits/lending/payments.
Education Qualification
- AnyGraduate/Postgraduate/Professionaldegree in Engineering/Computer Applications (or equivalent).
- StrongSQL/PL‑SQLandUnix/shellscripting skills familiarity with core banking data models and GL/accounting impacts.
- Experience building/consumingAPIs, working withMQ/file/batchintegrations, and usingPostman/SoapUIfor interface testing.
- Solid understanding ofSIT/UATprocesses, defect lifecycle, and deployment packaging.
