Job Description – Political CommunicationPosition: Political Communication Specialist / ManagerLocation: Trivandrum (Kerala)Job Type: Full-TimeExperience: 2 to 4 YearRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Political Communication professional to develop and execute communication strategies for political leaders, candidates, and campaigns. The candidate will be responsible for creating impactful messaging, managing media and stakeholder communication, and ensuring a consistent political narrative across platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute political communication strategies aligned with campaign objectives and leadership priorities.Create and manage speeches, press releases, talking points, statements, articles, social media messaging, and campaign content.Build and maintain relationships with journalists, media houses, influencers, political stakeholders, and community leaders.Monitor political news, public sentiment, media coverage, opposition narratives, and emerging issues.Support crisis communication and rapid-response messaging during sensitive political situations.Coordinate with research, social media, creative, video, and field teams to ensure consistent campaign messaging.Develop communication plans for rallies, public meetings, press conferences, interviews,



and political events.Prepare daily communication updates, media reports, and strategic inputs for senior leadership.Required SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong understanding of politics, current affairs, and political communication.Strong content writing, storytelling, and messaging abilities.Positive knowledge of media relations and stakeholder management.Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills.Ability to handle sensitive issues, crisis communication, and time-critical situations.Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight campaign deadlines.QualificationBachelor's/Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Political Science, Public Relations, Public Policy, or a related field.Relevant experience in political consulting, election campaigns, political parties, media, public affairs, or strategic communication will be preferred.Preferred ExperienceCandidates with experience working with:Political parties or political leadersElection campaignsPolitical consulting firmsGovernment/public affairs projectsMedia houses or news organizationsPolitical digital campaigns
