Travelers become part of a close-knit community united by a shared love for unique, memorable adventures.Role DescriptionThe Accountant role at Karvaann Experiences is a full time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial statements, monitoring budgets, tracking expenses related to trips and corporate events, and ensuring accurate recording of revenue from various travel services. The role also involves handling tax compliance,



coordinating with external auditors and advisors, and maintaining up-to-date financial records in line with regulatory requirements. The Accountant will collaborate with operations and sales teams to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and help improve financial efficiency across the company.QualificationsStrong accounting fundamentals including bookkeeping, general ledger management, and financial statement preparation.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create and interpret financial reports.Knowledge of Indian taxation, compliance regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.Experience in budgeting, expense tracking, and financial analysis to support operational and strategic decisions.Attention to detail, strong numerical aptitude, and ability to maintain accurate financial records.Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and external partners.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.Prior experience in the travel, hospitality, or services sector is beneficial, along with familiarity with MICE or corporate travel operations.
