Kids’ Fashion Designer

to design clothing and collections for

babies and children aged 0–10 years .The role requires someone who can take an idea from

concept and sketch to a production-ready design , with a robust understanding of kidswear, fabrics, construction, fit and technical specifications.Key Responsibilities

Design

baby and kidswear collections for ages 0–10 years .Develop original concepts, sketches, colour stories, prints, embroidery and garment detailing.Research

kidswear trends, fabrics, colours, silhouettes and seasonal directions .Create accurate and detailed

Tech Packs

for sampling and production.Prepare specifications including

measurements, construction details, trims, fabrics, artworks and finishing requirements .Select suitable

fabrics, trims, buttons, zippers, embellishments and other garment components .Work closely with sampling and production teams to translate designs accurately into finished garments.Review samples for

fit, proportion, comfort,



construction and design accuracy .Make design and specification corrections based on sample reviews.Maintain consistency in design language across collections while developing fresh concepts.Support the development of coordinated outfits and collections across different age groups.Requirements

Qualification in

Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field .Strong interest or experience in

baby and children’s fashion .Good fashion illustration and garment design skills.Strong knowledge of

Tech Pack development .Understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, measurements and sizing.Proficiency in relevant design software such as

Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop .Good attention to detail and ability to create production-ready designs.Ability to work closely with sampling, sourcing and production teams.Added Advantage

Hands-on knowledge of stitching, pattern understanding, and sample making will be a strong plus.Candidates who can not only design a garment but also understand

how it is constructed and developed into a finished sample
