Review patient medical records and assign accurate diagnosis and procedure codes.Apply CPT, ICD-9-CM, HCPCS, and other coding guidelines.Associate diagnosis codes with appropriate CPT codes for accurate reimbursement.Verify chart count and maintain daily/monthly MIS reports.Perform quality checks and monitor coding accuracy.Track coding errors and maintain quality metrics.Handle denial follow-up and appeals, when required.Conduct specialty training for experienced coders.Ensure compliance with client requirements and Information Security policies.
