Role & responsibilities

- Program Development: Write, modify, and optimize PLC logic using Ladder Logic (LD), Function Block Diagram (FBD), or Structured Text (ST).
- HMI/SCADA Configuration: Design and configure operator interfaces and supervisory control systems for real-time monitoring.
- System Integration: Connect PLCs with field instruments, sensors, actuators, servo drives, and VFDs.
- Communication Protocols: Implement industrial networks like Modbus, Profibus, Profinet, or Ethernet/IP.
- Testing and Commissioning: Conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and field hardware debugging.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve electrical, hardware, and software issues to reduce factory downtime.
- Documentation: Maintain version control, code backups, electrical schematics,



and operational manuals.

Preferred candidate profile

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of hands-on industrial automation programming experience.
- Education: Bachelor's or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with major platforms like Siemens (TIA Portal/Step 7), Mitsubishi, Rockwell Automation (Studio 5000/RSLogix)
- Hardware Knowledge: Ability to read electrical control panel wiring diagrams and P&ID; schematics.
- Soft Skills: Solid analytical thinking, cross-functional communication, and readiness for field travel.
