- Design CAD Modelling of BIW parts and Assemblies as per engineering guidelines and check lists.
- Creation and Management of product data structure in PLM and ensure BOM Quality.
- To support development of Design Standards Carryover Strategy in line with defined Technical Policy and Technology Roadmap for Sub-Module (Underbody Structure) and engineering of the Sub-Module (Under Body Structure) for the projects in line with the standards.
- Create Technical Proposals for New Concepts resolution of Technical Issues or Design to meet attributes.
- Design the sheetmetal body parts within the materials available
- Do the feasibility of the concept data
- Do the first level formability check
- positive understanding of the function, assembly, manufacturability, service requriement of the part.
- Create Bill of material and maintain the same in PLM
- Contribute in DFMEA/DFM activities
- contribute in VAVE, weight reduction, Innovista initiatives
- Contribute in productivity improvement
