Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality, safety, and efficiency of Jabil's facilities and infrastructure through effective planning, maintenance, and project management.

Job Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage the preventative and corrective maintenance programs for all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address potential issues, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
- Develop and implement facility improvement projects, from conception to completion, including scope definition, budget management, vendor selection, and project oversight.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., manufacturing, IT, EHS) to understand facility needs and provide timely and effective solutions.
- Manage facility-related budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
- Respond to and resolve facility emergencies, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external vendors and service providers for facility-related services.




- Participate in the design and construction review of new facilities or expansions.

Job Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in facilities engineering or a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) and their maintenance.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations (OSHA), and environmental standards.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Proficiency in CMMS and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
