Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy SAP ABAP applications using CDS views, OO ABAP, SmartForms, ALV reports, BAPIs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality solutions on time.
- Troubleshoot issues related to SAP ABAP development and provide technical support to end-users.
- Develop complex data transformations using OData services for integration purposes.

Job Requirements :

- Develop and support ABAP applications including Reports, ALV, Interfaces, Enhancements, and Forms

Design and implement CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption) with proper annotations

Build and extend OData Services using SAP Gateway (SEGW)

Perform performance tuning using tools like ST05, SQL Trace, and indexing techniques

Implement Enhancement framework (BADI, User Exits, Implicit/Explicit Enhancements)

Collaborate with functional teams to understand and deliver business requirements

Support Fiori/UI applications via CDS and OData exposure

Participate in testing, debugging, and transport management

Contribute to integration and extension projects on SAP BTP

Strong expertise in:

o Core ABAP (Reports, ALV, Data Dictionary, Forms)

o ABAP Objects (OOABAP)

Hands-on experience in:

o CDS Views & Annotations

o OData Development (SEGW) – CRUD operations, deep insert

Knowledge of:





o SQL optimization & performance tuning

o Internal tables, locking mechanisms, modularization

Experience working in S/4HANA environment

Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform):

o SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) – iFlows, adapters, message transformation

o Integration Suite concepts

Knowledge of SAP Joule (AI Copilot) or AI-assisted development in SAP

Experience with Low-Code / No-Code tools:

o SAP Build Apps

o SAP Build Process Automation / Workflows

Familiarity with modern SAP development models:

o RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model)

Exposure to SAP HANA Clean Core and side-by-side extensions

Understanding of:

o API Management, Event Mesh

o Fiori/UI5 concepts and architecture

Experience integrating SAP with external/non-SAP systems
