Position: Design Engineer

Location: Pune
Experience: 5-7 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech

Key Responsibilities

- Design 3D models, machine assemblies, and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Prepare BOMs and assembly drawings.
- Develop concepts based on customer requirements.
- Design fabricated, machined, and sheet metal components.
- Select standard mechanical components (bearings, motors, gearboxes, linear guides, pneumatic components, etc.).
- Apply GD&T;, DFM, DFA, tolerance stack-up, and material selection principles.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, procurement, and project teams.
- Support prototype development, testing, commissioning, and engineering changes.





Technical Skills

- Industrial Machine Design / SPM / Packaging Machinery
- GD&T;, Welding & Fabrication
- DFM, DFA, Manufacturing Processes
- Component Selection

Software Skills: PLM/PDM knowledge is preferred

Preferred

- Experience with international customers
- Complete machine development from concept to manufacturing
- Exposure to machine commissioning and engineering change management
- Knowledge of machine safety standards
