- Provide technical support for mainframe systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues related to CICS, DBMS, JCL, PL/I, and COBOL.
- Monitor batch jobs on mainframes using various tools such as BATCH MONITORING software.
- Collaborate with development teams to resolve defects in code and provide guidance on best practices for future enhancements.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, archiving, and reporting on mainframe system performance.
Job Requirements :
- 10-22 years of experience in mainframe production support or similar role.
- Solid knowledge of CICS, DBMS (e.g., IBM IMS), JCL (Job Control Language) programming languages like COBOL.
- Experience with batch monitoring tools such as BATCH MONITORING software is required.
