- Web Enablement / Frontend Engineering

Addepar takes a market-based approach to pay. A successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on the role, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.

What You’ll Do

As an AddeU Engineering Intern, you'll play an active role in building and enhancing Addepar's core products and platform.

You will:

- Contribute to impactful projects that solve real-world problems and deliver tangible value to our clients.




- Collaborate closely with experienced engineers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement high-quality software.
- Apply and grow your technical skills in areas such as backend microservices, frontend user interfaces, robust data pipelines, scalable test automation, or cutting-edge mobile applications.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from ideation/system design and coding to testing, deployment, and operational support.
- Engage in continuous learning through code reviews, technical discussions, and dedicated mentorship.
- Potentially contribute to documentation for code, software architecture, or user guides.

Who You Are (Eligibility Criteria)

- Education: Must be currently enrolled in a full-time educational institution (university must be located in India).
- Degree: Must be pursuing an Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Information Science and Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- Academic Excellence: For colleges following a percentage model, you must have achieved First Class and above. For colleges following a CGPA model, you must have a CGPA of 8.0 or above (out of 10.0). Absolutely no backlogs are allowed.
- Availability: Available to intern for the full 6 months in our Pune office, preferably 5 days a week.
- Coding Foundation:



Outstanding talent in software engineering, with the ability to write high-quality, maintainable code.
- CS Fundamentals: Solid understanding of fundamental computer science concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Languages: Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript, Kotlin, Swift, or Scala.

Familiarity with some of the following technical domains and concepts (specific exposure will depend on team placement and project focus):

- Web Technologies: HTTP, REST, frontend frameworks like React, Svelte.
- Database & Data Systems: SQL, NoSQL, data modeling, Data Pipelines, Spark, Databricks.
- Automation: API Automation, Performance Engineering, Selenium, JUnit.
- Distributed Systems: Cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
- Mobile: Mobile application development (Android, iOS).
- Tooling: Basic understanding of Linux environments, command-line tools, and version control systems (e.g., Git) and AI tools like Claude, Gemini, etc. is a plus.

Additional Skills:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Some understanding of development best practices and experience working in a team is preferred.
- Driven to explore complex problem spaces objectively from multiple points of view.
- Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Bonus: Specific experience in or knowledge of financial data systems.

Salary Information:

- During Internship Period (January to June 2027): INR 50,000 stipend per month (Taxes Applicable).
- Upon Conversion to Full-time Employee (July 2027 onwards): INR 15,00,000 fixed per annum + INR 1,00,000 bonus (per year) + 1000 Addepar stock options (Taxes Applicable).
