JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title Controls Automation Engineer

Division / Department Engineering

Location Pune

1. JOB PURPOSE

To deliver the assigned control automation scope in a project as per schedule with requisite

quality.

3. KEY RESPONSIBILTIES / WHAT WE EXPECT:

- Implementation and testing of automation software components for OneSubsea

production systems and their (industrial communication) interfaces

- Responsibility for conducting simulations, tests, and error analyses to validate the

solutions you develop in our agile work environment

- Migration,



maintenance and enhancements of existing automation components
- Supporting internal customers

- Participation in cross-departmental projects

4. SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Educational Qualifications

- Successfully completed degree in engineering
- Experience in application development

Functional Skills / Key competencies

- Knowledge in the use of Azure DevOps, Git, Linux, and automation software ( SCADA & HMI )
- Experience with JAMA Connect Software for tracking of Requirements and creation of software

tests

- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) is an advantage
- Team player, flexibility, and a structured way of thinking, stress resistance
- Good communication and English skills

Relevant and total years of Experience

A minimum of 4-8 years of experience

Other Skills and Abilities:

- Self-Driven, Proactive
- Ability to work in Globally Distributed setting without supervision.Role & responsibilities
