Job Summary
Kan Biosys Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Senior Engineer -Formulation to lead formulation operations in a manufacturing workplace. The role requires expertise in production planning, manpower supervision, production line management, process optimization, and compliance with Quality, Safety, GMP, and EHS standards. The incumbent will be responsible for achieving production targets while ensuring optimum utilization of manpower and manufacturing resources.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Operations

- Execute formulation batches as per approved Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR).
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per daily and monthly production plans.
- Monitor critical process parameters to maintain product quality and process efficiency.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, and Maintenance for uninterrupted production.

Manpower & Line Handling

- Handle and supervise a team of operators, technicians, and contract manpower.
- Allocate manpower efficiently across production lines based on production schedules.
- Ensure optimum line balancing to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
- Monitor operator performance, attendance, discipline, and productivity.
- Train shop-floor personnel on SOPs, GMP, safety practices,



and operational excellence.
- Conduct daily production meetings and shift handovers.

Process Improvement

- Identify process bottlenecks and implement productivity improvement initiatives.
- Reduce formulation losses, raw material consumption, and batch cycle time.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives.

Compliance & Documentation

- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, EHS, and company quality standards.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, BMRs, logbooks, and SOP documentation.
- Investigate deviations and implement CAPA.

Safety

- Ensure safe working practices across the formulation area.
- Promote zero-accident culture through safety awareness and compliance.

Candidate Profile

- B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering (Preferred)
- 5-6 years' experience in formulation operations within Chemical, Biotechnology, Agrochemical, Pharmaceutical, or Process Manufacturing industries.
- Strong experience in production line handling, shift management, and manpower supervision.
- Good understanding of GMP, ISO standards, process safety, and manufacturing documentation.
