Job Summary :

- We are seeking an experienced Linux & VMware Administrator with a strong background in Linux system administration and VMware virtualization technologies.
- The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in managing enterprise Linux environments, VMware infrastructure, system performance tuning, troubleshooting, security hardening, and automation.
- RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) certification is mandatory for this role.

Linux Administration :

- Install, configure, administer, and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
- Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, patch management, and capacity planning.
- Configure and manage Linux services including DNS, NFS, SSH, FTP, HTTP/HTTPS, and LDAP.
- Implement security best practices, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, file systems, and storage management.
- Troubleshoot complex Linux OS, kernel, networking, and application-level issues.
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.

VMware Administration :

- Administer and maintain VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter environments.
- Manage virtual machine provisioning, migration, cloning, snapshots, and resource allocation.
- Monitor VMware infrastructure performance and optimize system availability.
- Configure and maintain HA (High Availability), DRS, vMotion, and storage integration.
- Perform VMware upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management.
- Troubleshoot virtualization-related issues and ensure minimal downtime.





Automation & Monitoring :

- Develop and maintain shell scripts for routine administration tasks.
- Implement automation for operational activities and system provisioning.
- Utilize monitoring tools for proactive infrastructure management and incident resolution.
- Support infrastructure documentation and operational runbooks.

Required Skills - Mandatory:

- RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) Certification Mandatory
- 5+ years of experience in Linux System Administration.
- Solid hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
- Good knowledge of Linux kernel, networking, security, storage, and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with VMware ESXi, vCenter, vSphere Administration.
- Experience in virtualization technologies and infrastructure management.
- Shell scripting (Bash) knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred

- Knowledge of Ansible for automation.
- Experience with SAN/NAS storage technologies.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Understanding of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and enterprise support environments.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- RHCE Certification (Mandatory).
