What you will own and do:

Create high-quality visual content

- Create visually stunning 3D animations, product visualizations, and motion graphics that showcase Matter s automotive products in innovative ways.

Develop world-class visualization and animation pipelines

- Design and implement efficient, scalable pipelines for producing high-quality 3D visualizations and animations tailored for automotive products and experiences.

Lead and mentor the design team

- Guide and mentor a team of designers by fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and encouraging experimentation to support continuous learning and growth.

Collaborate across teams

- Work closely with the Experience Design team to support project execution and provide expertise in 3D animation and interactive application development.

Enhance automotive visualization

- Use your expertise in automotive visualization to create realistic and detailed vehicle representations that align with Matter s brand vision.

Bring products to life through storytelling





- Develop compelling animation sequences and visual narratives that communicate product capabilities and create engaging user experiences.

Optimize workflows and asset management

- Establish best practices for asset management, animation processes, and optimization techniques to ensure smooth project execution.

Ensure visual quality and consistency

- Maintain high standards across all visual outputs while ensuring alignment with Matter s brand guidelines.

What you will bring to us:

Advanced visualization expertise

- Strong understanding of colour, lighting, and spatial composition to create realistic and visually compelling outputs.

Expertise in industry tools and techniques

- Proficiency in tools such as Blender, VRed, Houdini, etc. Strong experience with either Unity or Unreal Engine, with a preference for Unreal Engine.

- Familiarity with node-based systems such as Blueprints (Unreal Engine) or Unity equivalents for creating interactive experiences.

- Experience translating and optimizing 3D models from tools such as Rhino, Alias, and Blender for real-time environments.

- Strong understanding of Physically Based Rendering (PBR), including material creation, asset libraries, and optimization techniques.

Advanced realism and rendering capabilities

- Expertise in lighting design and photorealistic rendering. Experience using advanced technologies such as Lumen and Nanite for real-time rendering optimization and environmental asset management.

- Experience leveraging AI-driven tools and workflows to improve efficiency and enhance visualization quality.

Hardware and immersive experience integration

- Experience integrating hardware such as Oculus, Leap Motion, or other VR/AR devices to create immersive visualization experiences.

Strong attention to detail

- Ability to ensure high standards of realism, quality, and consistency across all visual outputs.

Collaborative mindset





- Experience working in cross-functional teams and adapting to evolving project requirements.

Education

- Degree or diploma in New Media Design, Animation, Visual Arts, or a related field. Design or technology degrees may also be considered.

Experience

- 6+ years of experience in 3D visualization, animation, and interactive content development, preferably within automotive projects.

Portfolio

- A robust portfolio demonstrating expertise in 3D visualization, animation, and interactive content.
