Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day financial activities of our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have 45years of hands-on experience in maintaining books of accounts, managing accountsreceivable/payable, and handling inventory accounting. Prior experience in amanufacturing setup is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts in compliance with accountingstandards and company policies.

• Process and monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timelycollections and disbursements.

• Reconcile bank accounts, vendor/supplier accounts, and customer ledgersregularly.

• Oversee inventory accounting, including stock reconciliation, valuation, andmovement tracking

.• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, ensuring accuracy andcompleteness of financial records.

• Prepare and submit periodic financial reports, including P&L; statements, balancesheets, and cash flow reports.

• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control activities related to manufacturingoperations.

• Support internal and statutory audits by providing necessary data and explanations.

• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and other statutoryrequirements.

• Collaborate with procurement, production, and warehousing teams for real-timeInventory and cost data integration.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance,



or related field (CA Inter or equivalent isa plus).

• 4–5 years of accounting experience, specifically in the FMCG/Dairy/Manufacturingsector.

• Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent ERPsystems).

• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and cost accounting.

• Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, and other relevant compliance frameworks.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Attributes:

• Exposure to costing and BOM (Bill of Materials) analysis.

• Experience in process improvement or system automation projects in finance.

• Familiarity with MIS reporting and dashboard creation.
