Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester – Data Products & ML/AI to ensure quality, accuracy, and reliability of data platforms and machine learning solutions. The role focuses on testing data pipelines, validating ML/AI models, and ensuring data quality, fairness, and performance across end-to-end data and AI workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Test data pipelines, data warehouses, and data products for accuracy, completeness, and consistency
- Validate ML/AI models including input datasets, feature engineering, model outputs, and predictions
- Design and execute test cases for data quality, business logic, edge cases, and performance
- Perform data validation using SQL, Python, and analytics tools
- Test ETL/ELT processes, including batch and real-time data flows
- Validate model performance metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, F1-score, etc.
- Detect and analyze data drift and model drift
- Perform bias, fairness, and explainability checks for ML models where applicable




- Test API integrations exposing ML predictions and data services
- Automate data and model validation checks wherever feasible
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Owners, and QA teams
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards
- Perform defect tracking, root cause analysis, and reporting

Must-Have Skills

Data Testing

- Robust SQL skills for data validation and analysis
- Experience testing data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and reporting layers
- Understanding of data warehouses and data lakes (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, etc.)

ML / AI Testing

- Understanding of the ML lifecycle (data ingestion, training, validation, deployment, monitoring)
- Experience validating ML model outputs and performance metrics
- Knowledge of model drift, data drift, and bias testing

Technical Skills

- Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis and validation
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, REST clients)
- Familiarity with automation frameworks (PyTest, Great Expectations, custom scripts)
- Experience with version control systems like Git
