Job Summary

Data Scientists at Coupa support internal teams (primarily product and engineering) by creating and automating machine-language-driven solutions to complex problems. Your work would help improve existing or new machine-language-based product features and would ultimately impact thousands of Coupa customers driving product usage and adoption.

What You'll Do

- As a Data Scientist, you will work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets to build, deploy, and optimize machine learning and AI models.
- You will design and automate data pipelines (ETL), improve data quality, develop intelligent systems, and contribute to the creation of AI-enabled product features.
- You will be contributing to the development of concepts, methods and techniques with design ownership over features and functionality

What You Will Bring to Coupa

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Analytics, or Statistics (or similar field)
- 2+ Years Experience with Python (and PySpark),



and querying languages such as SQL
- High-level understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms
- Hands-on experience building or working with AI/ML models, including exposure to modern AI approaches (e.g., NLP, deep learning, or generative AI)
- 2+ Years Experience working with large datasets - cleaning, processing, interpreting, and automating processes
- Ability to work in ambiguous environments, learn quickly, and apply solid critical thinking skills
- Passion for building AI-driven products and translating business problems into intelligent solutions
