Position Title : SAP BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework) Consultant

Key Responsibilities :

1. Development and Maintenance :

- Develop, test, debug, implement, maintain, and document BOPF, FPM, and ABAP code used in RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms, and Workflows) objects.

- Work on the Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF) to create, enhance, and maintain business objects.

2. Troubleshooting and Support :

- Troubleshoot BOPF, FPM, and Web Dynpro related issues encountered during testing phases.

- Provide support to end -users during Acceptance Testing activities to ensure smooth functionality and usability.

3. Documentation :

- Develop and maintain SAP design and technical specification documents, ensuring all developments align with project requirements and standards.

4. Testing and Validation :

- Conduct unit, integration, and release testing to validate new functionalities and ensure stability of developed solutions.

5. Security and Authorization :

- Collaborate with the security team to provide necessary authorization details for developed objects, including those related to BOPF, BRF+ (Business Rules Framework Plus), and their execution permissions.

6. Expertise in RAP :

- Develop applications using SAP Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP), especially transactional processing within BOPF.





7. UI Extensions :

- Extend UI applications based on BOPF to meet specific user requirements and enhance functionality.

8. SAP Fiori Development :

- Develop Overview Pages, Analytical Pages, List Reports, and Object Pages using the SAP Fiori framework.

- Leverage Smart Controls and integrate with BOPF for an enhanced user experience.

9. CDS Views and AMDP :

- Use Core Data Services (CDS) and ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP) for data modeling and integration in SAP Fiori applications.

10. BOPF Framework Expertise :

- Utilize BOPF Framework to create both read -only applications and draft -enabled applications.

- Ensure robust data modeling and processing for transactional applications within BOPF.

Technical Knowledge and Skills Required :

- BOPF: Deep understanding of the Business Object Processing Framework, including object creation, extensions, and transactional processing.

- FPM: Proficiency in developing Floor Plan Manager (FPM) based applications within the SAP environment.
