Job Description Full Stack Developer (PERN / MERN)

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Full Stack Developer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in the PERN (PostgreSQL, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) or MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) stack to join our growing engineering team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about building modern, scalable, and high-performance web applications using the latest frontend and backend technologies.

You should have strong experience with React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and Express.js, along with a solid understanding of relational or NoSQL databases. Experience building RESTful APIs, integrating frontend applications with backend services, and writing clean, maintainable code is essential. Basic exposure to React Native is desirable.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, and Express.js.
- Design and develop secure, scalable, and well-documented RESTful APIs.
- Convert UI/UX designs into clean, reusable, and maintainable code using Tailwind CSS.
- Build reusable frontend components and backend services to improve development efficiency and consistency.
- Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL or MongoDB database schemas.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using JWT, OAuth, or similar technologies.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and third-party services.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented TypeScript and JavaScript code following industry best practices.
- Assist in developing and maintaining mobile application features using React Native, where required.
- Debug and resolve frontend, backend, database, and performance issues.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development activities.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, QA Engineers, and other Developers to deliver high-quality software.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, security, accessibility, and maintainability.
- Write database migrations, seed, and optimize database queries.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in React, Node.js, Express.js, Next.js, and database technologies.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering,



Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of professional experience in Full Stack Development using PERN or MERN stack.
- Strong proficiency in:

- Hands-on experience with:

- React.js (Hooks, Component Lifecycle, Context API, State Management)
- Next.js (App Router, Pages Router, Server-Side Rendering, Static Site Generation)
- Node.js

- Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB database design and querying.
- Experience with ORMs such as Prisma, Drizzle ORM, Sequelize, Mongoose, or TypeORM.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS for building responsive user interfaces.
- Experience using React Hook Form for form handling and validation.
- Familiarity with TanStack Query (React Query) for efficient data fetching and caching.
- Knowledge of Zustand or other lightweight state management libraries.
- Experience building and integrating REST APIs.
- Basic understanding of GraphQL is an advantage.
- Basic to intermediate experience with React Native.
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative version control workflows.
- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, Role-Based Access Control).
- Understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, backend security, and application performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Practical experience building mobile applications using React Native.
- Experience with Zod or similar schema validation libraries.
- Familiarity with component libraries such as:
- shadcn/ui
- NextUI
- Ant Design
- Material UI

- Basic understanding of Docker and containerized development.
- Familiarity with Redis for caching and session management.
- Experience with message queues such as RabbitMQ or BullMQ is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Exposure to testing frameworks such as:

- Knowledge of frontend performance optimization techniques, accessibility (WCAG),
