Position Title: Draftsman (Civil / Structural / Infrastructure)

Job Summary: The Draftsman will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining engineering drawings, layouts, plans, sections, and detailed construction drawings for infrastructure, civil, structural, and utility projects. The role requires close coordination with engineers, architects, and project teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed engineering and construction drawings using AutoCAD and other drafting software.
- Develop plans, profiles, cross-sections, layouts, and as-built drawings. • Modify and update drawings based on design revisions and site requirements.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design calculations.
- Coordinate with engineers and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision records,



and document control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Assist in quantity extraction and preparation of drawing-based reports when required.
- Prepare utility, road, highway, structural, and infrastructure drawings as applicable.
- Support tender and project documentation activities related to drawings.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D).

• Knowledge of engineering and construction drawing standards.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

• Robust attention to detail and accuracy.

• Proficiency in MS Office applications.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Software Knowledge:

• AutoCAD

• Civil 3D

• MicroStation (preferred)

• Revit (preferred)

• GIS Software (preferred)
