Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with extensive experience in the maintenance and alignment of CNC and VMC machines, as well as conventional machinery. The ideal candidate will be proficient in preventive maintenance, geometry and alignment work (X-axis, Y-axis, Z-axis), lubrication procedures, and the replacement of machine components.

Key Responsibilities

Mechanical Maintenance

- Perform preventive, predictive, breakdown, and corrective maintenance of CNC, VMC, and conventional machines.
- Carry out installation, commissioning, dismantling, and overhauling of mechanical equipment.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical failures to minimize equipment downtime.
- Replace worn or damaged machine components such as bearings, ball screws, guideways, couplings, shafts, gears, belts, seals, and hydraulic components.
- Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems associated with machinery.

Machine Geometry & Alignment

- Perform machine geometry checks and alignment for X, Y, and Z axes.
- Conduct spindle alignment, ball screw alignment, and machine leveling.
- Ensure machining accuracy through calibration and precision adjustments.
- Verify machine performance using precision measuring instruments.

Reliability & Troubleshooting





- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring mechanical failures.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support predictive maintenance activities including vibration monitoring and condition monitoring.
- Improve machine reliability and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, history cards, and equipment logs.
- Prepare daily and monthly maintenance reports.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, TPM, 5S, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Follow HSE policies, Permit-to-Work (PTW), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and safety regulations.

Continuous Improvement

- Participate in Kaizen, TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Suggest modifications to improve machine performance and reduce maintenance costs.
- Support shutdown planning and annual maintenance activities.

Qualifications:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

2 to 6 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance.

In-depth knowledge of CNC, VMC, and conventional machine maintenance.

Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
