Job Summary

The Quality Jr. Engineer at Jabil, Inc. supports the quality assurance team in ensuring product and process quality through data analysis, inspection, and documentation, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control procedures and standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Collect and analyze quality data, identifying trends and potential areas for improvement.
- Support the investigation of root causes for quality issues and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Document quality processes, test results, and non-conformances accurately and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to resolve quality-related problems.
- Participate in internal audits and support external audit preparations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality systems and processes.

Qualifications





- Bachelors degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a rapid-paced manufacturing environment.
- Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or quality-related role is a plus.
