Electrical Utility Operations

- Ensure smooth operation of electrical utility systems across the plant.
- Monitor and maintain HT/LT power distribution networks.
- Operate and maintain transformers, switchgear, PCC/MCC panels, RMUs, and

bus duct systems.

- Monitor electrical load distribution and power consumption.

Maintenance Management

- Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Develop maintenance schedules for utility equipment.
- Analyze recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
- Coordinate shutdown activities and preventive maintenance programs.

Power Generation & Backup Systems

- Manage DG sets, UPS systems, battery banks, and emergency power

infrastructure.

- Ensure readiness of backup power systems.
- Optimize fuel and energy consumption of utility equipment.

Energy Management

- Monitor energy consumption and identify opportunities for energy conservation.
- Drive energy-saving initiatives and cost optimization projects.
- Conduct energy audits and implement recommendations.
- Track utility KPIs and prepare MIS reports.

Reliability & Improvement Projects





- Lead electrical utility improvement projects.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) for major breakdowns.
- Support automation and digitalization initiatives.
- Implement reliability-cantered maintenance practices.

Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Conduct safety audits and risk assessments.
- Implement LOTO procedures and electrical safety practices.
- Coordinate inspections with statutory authorities.

Vendor & Contractor Management

- Manage AMC contractors and service providers.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure timely service delivery.
- Support procurement activities for spare parts and utility equipment.

Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain electrical drawings, SOPs, maintenance records, and utility logs.
- Prepare monthly reports related to utility performance, energy consumption, and

equipment reliability.

- Ensure proper documentation for statutory compliance.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineer
