Job Summary
As a Procurement Specialist at CrowdStrike, you will manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, foster strong vendor relationships, and support evolving business needs through effective purchasing strategies. You will play a critical role in driving cost-effective acquisitions while ensuring strict adherence to company policies and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
Procurement Execution & Operations
- Execute the complete Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process, from initial requisition to purchase order (PO) creation and management.
- Process purchase requisitions promptly, ensuring accurate and compliant documentation.
- Ensure the timely completion and closure of PO renewals and change orders.
- Identify and implement process efficiencies to continuously enhance procurement productivity.
- Consistently meet or exceed business SLAs and Turnaround Times (TAT) with the highest level of efficiency.
Sourcing & Negotiation
- Identify and evaluate vendors, analyze quotes from a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) perspective, and validate pricing to ensure optimal value.
- Negotiate favorable terms, conditions, and pricing aligned with corporate objectives and policies.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Cultivate healthy collaboration and strong business relationships with internal stakeholders, requesters, and commodity managers.
- Manage the full vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date vendor records and procurement documentation within company systems.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Compliance
- Partner with Legal and Information Security teams to evaluate requirements, negotiate terms, and address feedback or redlines with suppliers.
- Support contract reviews and renewals in coordination with legal and business stakeholders.
- Assist Accounts Payable and business owners with invoice reconciliation and payment resolutions.
- Ensure strict compliance with all corporate procurement policies and procedures.
Financial Impact & Reporting
- Monitor and manage procurement budgets, proactively identifying cost-saving opportunities through rigorous spend analysis.
- Generate regular procurement reports and contribute to key performance indicator (KPI) tracking and MIS activities.
Requirements
- Experience: 7-9 years of proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Commodity Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in the full requisition-to-payment lifecycle across commodities such as Software, Hardware, TechOps, Marketing, Services (Accounting, Business/Systems Consulting, Tax, Audit), Facilities, and HR.
- SaaS Knowledge: Experience with SaaS procurement models is highly preferred.
- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation capabilities with a proven track record of securing favorable commercial terms.
- Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis
- Organizational Skills: Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical mindset with robust problem-solving capabilities and a highly detail-oriented approach.
- Technical Acumen: Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
- Shift Time: 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM IST
