- Assess, examine, and provide initial treatment to patients coming to the Emergency/Casualty Department.
- Triage patients and identify emergency and critical cases on priority.
- Stabilize patients with acute illness, injury, or other emergency conditions.
- Monitor vital signs and the clinical condition of patients regularly.
- Provide medical care and continuous monitoring to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Manage emergency situations and provide immediate medical treatment as required.
- Maintain proper input-output charts and other necessary patient records.
- Check previous medical records, investigations, and treatment history, if available.
- Record complete patient history, examination findings, treatment, and progress in the patient's case sheet.
- Coordinate with consultants and senior doctors for further management of critical patients.
- Ensure timely referral or transfer of patients when required.
- Maintain proper documentation and follow hospital protocols for ICU and Emergency care.
