We are looking for an experienced Azure L2 Engineer with solid expertise in Azure cloud

infrastructure management, platform operations, and production support. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for maintaining, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise-scale Azure

environments while ensuring security, scalability, reliability, and adherence to operational best

practices. The role requires hands-on experience with Azure IaaS services, networking, identity

management, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 2 support for Azure cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring timely resolution

of incidents and service requests within defined SLAs.

• Manage, deploy, and troubleshoot Azure Virtual Machines (Windows/Linux), Storage

Accounts, Managed Disks, Virtual Networks, Network Security Groups (NSGs), Load

Balancers, and other Azure resources.

• Monitor the health, performance, and availability of Azure environments using Azure Monitor,

Log Analytics, and alerting solutions.

• Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis (RCA) to

identify and prevent recurring issues.

• Administer Azure Backup, Recovery Services Vaults, and Disaster Recovery solutions to

ensure business continuity and data protection.

• Manage Azure AD/Entra ID, including user administration, group management, role

assignments, RBAC implementation, and access governance.

• Support Azure networking components such as VNet peering, VPN connectivity, DNS

configuration, and network troubleshooting.





• Execute operational automation and routine administrative tasks using PowerShell and Azure

CLI.

• Collaborate with L3 engineers, cloud architects, and cross-functional teams for issue

resolution, change implementation, and infrastructure improvements.

• Participate in patch management, security compliance activities, capacity planning, and

environment optimization initiatives.

• Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, knowledge articles, and standard

operating procedures (SOPs).

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Administration and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).

• Expertise in Azure Virtual Machines, Storage Services, Virtual Networks, NSGs, Load

Balancers, and Backup solutions.

• Good understanding of Azure AD/Entra ID, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and

RBAC.

• Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and performance

monitoring tools.

• Knowledge of Azure Backup, Site Recovery, and Disaster Recovery concepts.

• Proficiency in PowerShell and/or Azure CLI for automation and administration.

• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of ITIL processes, incident management, change management, and problem management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).

• Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform).

• Familiarity with Azure security best practices and governance frameworks.

• Experience working in enterprise production support or managed services environments.
