About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Manager Finance & Accounts to own the finance function and lead our accounting, compliance, and reporting operations. This role is suited to a CA Inter qualified skilled with 5+ years of experience, or a B.Com/M.Com graduate with 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally with hands-on exposure to e-commerce and inventory-led businesses. You will work closely with the founders to build robust financial systems, manage a small team, and ensure the finance function scales with the business.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end finance and accounts operations, including books of accounts, statutory compliance, and financial reporting.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual book closures and ensure accuracy of financial statements. • Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory filings, and ensure full regulatory compliance across the business.
- Oversee inventory accounting and reconciliation stock valuation, COGS, wastage, and warehouse-level inventory reporting.
- Manage e-commerce and marketplace finance operations, including reconciliation of Amazon, Flipkart, Quick Commerce, and D2C payment gateway settlements (Razorpay, Cashfree) and COD remittances.
- Drive monthly MIS, P&L;, cash flow, and balance sheet reporting for the founders and leadership team.
- Build and monitor budgets, cost controls, and working capital management across the business. • Lead statutory and internal audits by coordinating with external CA firms and auditors. • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor payment cycles.



• Own payroll processing and compliance in coordination with HR.
- Support fundraising, investor reporting, and due diligence with accurate, audit-ready financial documentation.
- Mentor and manage junior accounts executives, reviewing their work and building process discipline across the team.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes as the business scales.

Must Have

- CA Inter qualified with 5+ years of experience, OR a B.Com/M.Com graduate with 7+ years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
- Mandatory hands-on experience in an e-commerce or D2C business, including inventory accounting and reconciliation.
- Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian accounting standards. • Proven experience managing marketplace and payment gateway reconciliations at scale. • Prior experience leading or mentoring a small accounts team.
- Strong command of accounting software (Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or QuickBooks) and advanced Excel.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy. • Ability to work independently, take ownership, and operate in a fast-paced startup environment.

Good to Have

- Prior experience in a D2C, e-commerce, or FMCG startup at a managerial level.
- Exposure to financial modelling and reporting for investor decks or fundraising.
- Experience setting up or improving finance processes and internal controls from scratch.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and their integration with accounting systems.
