Why This Role Exists

A Swiss-founded supply chain analytics company — built by a leader who has shaped global logistics at the highest level — has run its engineering centre out of Pune for over six years. The platform is live with international manufacturing, retail, FMCG, and logistics clients. Now the India centre is scaling, and it needs someone to run technology operations on the ground — not just write code, but own how the engineering floor works day to day.

This is not a governance seat. You will be in the code, in the architecture reviews, and in the room when the roadmap gets decided — while also being the person the CTO trusts to keep the India engineering operation running at pace, standard, and quality.

What This Role Demands

These are not preferences. A profile missing any one of the six below will not move forward, regardless of overall strength.

Supply Chain Planning Software domain — hands-on experience inside a planning product company: Kinaxis, o9 Solutions, Blue Yonder, SAP IBP, Anaplan, or a direct equivalent

10+ years hands-on production experience in BOTH Node.js AND Angular — one without the other does not clear this bar

Active, daily use of AI-assisted coding tools right now — Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot

Production cloud deployment ownership — Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform

Proven SQL and database design depth in enterprise-grade production systems

06

C1-level English — you will speak directly and independently with global leadership and international clients

What You Will Own

– Run technology operations for the India engineering centre — standards, delivery cadence, code quality, and how the team actually works

– Sit directly with the Global CTO on architecture decisions, technical strategy, and roadmap sequencing

– Stay hands-on: build and ship features in Angular, Node.js, and MSSQL alongside the team, not above it

– Embed AI into the product itself — turning supply chain data into intelligent, conversational customer insight

– Set the tone for AI-native engineering — Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot as the default way work gets done, not an experiment

– Talk directly to international clients — gather feedback, translate it into shipped features, iterate rapid

– Mentor engineers, raise the technical bar, and build the operating rhythm the team runs on as headcount grows
