A large financial services group is hiring a Corporate Historian and Legacy Writer to research and document its institutional history.

Key responsibilities:

- Research and document the history, evolution and milestones of the organisation, the wider group and its founders
- Review annual reports, historical records, media archives, photographs, legal documents and other source materials
- Conduct in-depth interviews with founders, promoters, executives, employees, customers and industry veterans
- Develop detailed timelines, company chronicles, founder biographies and legacy narratives
- Write high-quality long-form content for books, commemorative publications, corporate presentations, websites, annual reports and documentary projects
- Verify facts, cross-reference information and ensure rigorous historical accuracy
- Organise and maintain digital archives of documents, photographs, videos and oral histories




- Collaborate with leadership to identify and preserve significant stories and institutional achievements

Deliverables: corporate history reports, founder and promoter biographies, legacy books and commemorative publications, milestone timelines, archival documentation and long-form narrative content.

Candidate profile: 3-15 years of relevant experience. Journalists, authors, researchers, historians, business writers, corporate communications professionals and documentary researchers are all encouraged to apply. Familiarity with business history, corporate structures and financial documents is preferred.
