Roles and Responsibilities :

- Lead a team of data engineers to design, develop, test, deploy and maintain large-scale data pipelines using Azure Cloud services such as ADLS, ADFS, Data Bricks etc.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet customer needs.
- Develop and implement scalable architectures for big data processing using PySpark on Azure Databricks platform.
- Ensure high availability, performance, security and reliability of the deployed systems by monitoring their behavior under various loads.

Job Requirements :

- 10-18 years of experience in IT industry with expertise in data engineering/architecture role.
- Solid knowledge of Azure Cloud services including ADLS, ADFS, Data Bricks etc. .
- Proficiency in Python programming language with hands-on experience working with PySpark framework.
- Experience in team leading or mentoring junior engineers is desirable.
