Job Summary

The QA/QC Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality management systems to ensure that all construction activities meet company standards, client requirements, applicable building codes, and statutory regulations. The role focuses on delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and mixed-use real estate projects while minimizing defects and ensuring continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Management

Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS).

Prepare and review Quality Assurance and Quality Control plans.

Establish quality objectives, procedures, and inspection protocols.

Ensure compliance with applicable construction standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

Site Quality Control

Monitor construction activities to ensure work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Conduct routine site inspections and quality audits.

Review Inspection Requests (IRs), Method Statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).

Verify material approvals and ensure only approved materials are used.

Documentation & Compliance

Maintain quality records,



inspection reports, test reports, and material approvals.

Review and approve quality documentation submitted by contractors and consultants.

Ensure proper documentation for project handover and close-out.

Maintain records of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and preventive actions.

Testing & Inspection

Coordinate laboratory testing of construction materials such as concrete, steel, soil, and finishing materials.

Monitor third-party inspections and statutory approvals.

Ensure testing is conducted as per project specifications and relevant standards.

Contractor & Vendor Quality

Evaluate contractor quality performance.

Conduct quality meetings with contractors, consultants, and project teams.

Monitor subcontractor compliance with project quality requirements.

Recommend corrective actions for quality deficiencies.

Defect Management

Identify quality issues and investigate root causes.

Issue NCRs and monitor corrective and preventive actions.

Track defect closure and ensure timely resolution.

Support snagging, de-snagging, and final project handover activities.
