- Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment
- Prepare patients for echocardiographic procedures
- Explain procedures to patients and address any concerns
- Conduct echocardiograms following established protocols
- Analyze and interpret echocardiographic data

Echo Technician Qualifications & Skills
- Experience with advanced echocardiographic techniques
- Certification from a recognized echocardiography program
- Familiarity with cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Previous experience in a clinical setting
- Advanced certifications in cardiovascular technology
- Bilingual abilities for better patient communication
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Associate's degree in cardiovascular technology or a related field
- Completion of an accredited echocardiography program
- Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Excellent hand-eye coordination
- Positive physical stamina to work on your feet for extended periods
