Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership for procurement and management of E&I; bought-out items in line with project and operational requirements
- Apply robust Thermax product knowledge to evaluate E&I; bought-out requirements for boilers, heaters, burners, fuel systems, and associated packages
- Ensure correct interpretation and application of technical specifications, scope, and interfaces for E&I; bought-outs
- Ensure effective use of procurement systems and processes for planning, execution, tracking, and reporting
- Lead vendor identification, evaluation, development, and performance management for E&I; bought-out packages
- Ensure vendors clearly understand technical requirements, quality expectations, and delivery commitments
- Drive purchase execution, scheduling, and expediting to ensure timely availability of E&I; bought-out items
- Apply strong costing and commercial judgment in evaluating offers, negotiations, and finalization
- Ensure alignment of E&I; bought-outs with project lifecycle requirements and site execution needs
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Projects, Fabrication, Planning, and Quality teams
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance norms, and statutory requirements
- Review MIS, dashboards, and reports related to cost, delivery, and vendor performance
- Ensure readiness and effective handling of audits and reviews related to E&I; procurement
- Lead and develop the E&I; bought-outs team, ensuring role clarity, accountability,



and team effectiveness

Technical / Functional:

- Product Knowledge Ability to clearly understand, interpret, and apply E&I; bought-out requirements related to boilers, heaters, burners, and associated packages.
- Systems Knowledge – Ability to effectively use procurement systems, workflows, and controls for planning, execution, tracking, and reporting of E&I; bought-outs.
- Electrical & Instrumentation Bought-outs: Ability to manage E&I; bought-out packages by ensuring technical compliance, interface clarity, and alignment with project requirements.
- Burners (E&I; Bought-outs): Ability to evaluate burner-related E&I; scope, ensuring safety, performance, and compliance with specifications.
- Vendor Management: Ability to assess vendor capability, ensure adherence to technical and quality requirements, and drive consistent delivery performance.
- Purchase & Schedule Management: Ability to plan, execute, and monitor procurement schedules to ensure timely availability of E&I; bought-out items.
- Costing & Commercial Acumen: Ability to evaluate costs, negotiate effectively, and take commercially sound procurement decisions.

- Audit Readiness & Compliance : Ability to support and manage procurement-related audits through proper documentation and process adherence.
