Role Overview

As a Computer Vision Specialist, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-powered vision solutions that automate and augment construction workflows. You will work closely with AI Engineers, Data Scientists, BIM experts, domain specialists, and software engineers to build scalable computer vision systems using images, videos, drone imagery, CCTV feeds, LiDAR, point clouds, and 3D data.

You will contribute across the complete AI lifecyclefrom dataset creation and model development to optimization, deployment, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Computer Vision Development

- Design and develop AI-powered computer vision solutions for construction and engineering applications.

- Build and optimize models for image and video analytics, visual inspection, object detection, segmentation, OCR, tracking, and quality assessment.

- Collaborate with AI engineers and domain experts to deliver scalable, production-ready vision solutions.

AI Model Development

- Build and train CNN, Vision Transformer (ViT), DETR, YOLO, Mask R-CNN, Segment Anything (SAM), Grounding DINO, CLIP, Florence, and related architectures.

- Fine-tune foundation vision models.

- Apply transfer learning and self-supervised learning techniques.

- Build multimodal AI systems combining vision and language models.

Dataset Engineering

- Design and manage image and video datasets for computer vision applications.

- Develop annotation strategies and ensure high-quality labeled datasets.

- Apply data augmentation, synthetic data generation, and active learning techniques to improve model performance.

Research & Innovation

- Evaluate latest Computer Vision research.

- Experiment with emerging vision foundation models.





- Prototype innovative AI solutions.

- Publish technical findings internally.

Required Technical Skills

- Strong programming skills in Python with experience in AI/ML development.

- Hands-on experience with Deep Learning and Computer Vision frameworks.

- Experience developing solutions for Object Detection, Image Classification, Segmentation, OCR, Video Analytics, and Visual Inspection.

- Experience with modern Computer Vision architectures, including CNNs, Vision Transformers, and Foundation Vision Models.

- Strong understanding of image and video data processing, model training, evaluation, and optimization.

- Experience preparing and improving datasets through annotation, augmentation, and quality validation.

- Familiarity with GPU-based model training and inference optimization.

- Working knowledge of Vision-Language Models (VLMs) and Multimodal AI is preferred.

- Experience integrating AI models into production applications and collaborating with software engineering teams

Preferred Experience

- 3-7 years of Computer Vision experience.

- Experience deploying production AI solutions.

- Experience training custom deep learning models.

- Experience with GPU optimization.

- Experience handling large-scale image/video datasets.

- Experience working in Agile product teams.
