- Experience 9+ Years of relevant experience in an Electrical Design department within the Overhead crane industries.

Soft Skills

- EPLAN Electric, AutoCAD Mechanical
- Experience working with PLM systems such as Team center or equivalent software experience.

Key Skills

- Proficiency in electrical design software such as EPLAN Electric
- Hands-on experience in Teamcenter for design data management and document control
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulations (IEC, NEC, IS, CE, UL, CSA, etc.)
- Experience in designing electrical systems for industrial overhead cranes
- Exposure to application-specific crane systems such as:
Hot metal handling cranes
Galvanizing plant cranes
Seashore / coastal setting cranes

Automation crane like PLC operated crane.

- Experience in power distribution, control panels, and crane electrification systems
- Familiarity with circuit analysis and simulation tools
- Working knowledge of Excel for engineering calculations and reports
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, GA drawings, and technical specifications
- Knowledge of drives, motors, brakes, limit switches, festoon systems, and safety interlocks




- Effective communication and cross-functional coordination skills
- Vendor coordination and technical evaluation capability

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage electrical design activities for crane projects with the design team.
- Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications
- Work in Teamcenter for drawing release, revision control, and documentation management
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
- Coordinate with Service, Erection Commissioning, and Production teams for design finalization
- Conduct feasibility studies, design reviews, and risk assessments
- Perform design calculations and optimization of electrical systems
- Select suitable components and prepare BOM for procurement
- Support testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities
- Standardize design practices and maintain design documentation
- Support cost optimization and value engineering initiatives
- Keep updated with advancements in electrical design technology
