Role Summary

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the complete warehouse operations across all Pan India locations, including EPC Solar Pump, EPC Rooftop, B2C Rooftop, and B2B Rooftop businesses. The role is accountable for inventory accuracy, warehouse operations, logistics coordination, 3PL management, warehouse infrastructure development, safety, compliance, SAP governance, cost optimization, and people management.

The incumbent will drive operational excellence by establishing standardized warehouse processes, ensuring best-in-class inventory control, improving warehouse productivity, reducing operational costs, and maintaining world-class safety and compliance standards while supporting the organization's business growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

- Lead end-to-end warehouse operations across all Pan India warehouses.
- Develop and implement warehouse strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Establish standardized warehouse processes and SOPs across all locations.
- Ensure uninterrupted warehouse operations with maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor warehouse performance through defined KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.

2. Inventory Planning & Control

- Ensure 100% inventory accuracy across all warehouses through robust inventory control processes.
- Monitor inventory ageing, slow-moving, excess, obsolete, rejected, damaged, and scrap inventory.
- Lead cycle counts, monthly, quarterly, and annual physical stock audits.
- Ensure timely inventory reconciliation between SAP and physical stock.
- Implement inventory optimization initiatives to improve stock availability while minimizing carrying costs.
- Develop inventory governance and reporting mechanisms.

3. Material Inward & GRN Management

- Ensure timely unloading and receipt of all inbound materials.
- Monitor vehicle turnaround time (TAT) for unloading operations.
- Ensure timely creation of GRNs in SAP with complete documentation.
- Verify inward documentation including Purchase Orders, Invoices, E-way Bills, and other statutory documents.
- Ensure proper material inspection, identification, labeling, and storage.

4. Dispatch & Logistics Management

- Ensure timely execution of customer dispatches as per business commitments.
- Monitor loading turnaround time and vehicle utilization.
- Ensure all dispatches are processed strictly against approved Sales Orders and valid invoices.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and transporters to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Monitor dispatch accuracy and eliminate dispatch-related errors.
- Ensure proper packaging, handling, and loading practices to prevent transit damage.

5. Warehouse Infrastructure & Development

- Identify, evaluate,



and finalize new warehouse locations across India.
- Lead warehouse setup, infrastructure development, and operational readiness.
- Ensure warehouses comply with company standards for safety, security, storage, and operational efficiency.
- Optimize warehouse layouts to maximize storage capacity and operational flow.
- Drive warehouse modernization and infrastructure improvement initiatives.

6. Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Management

- Manage all 3PL warehouse partners across India.
- Develop and onboard new 3PL partners based on business expansion plans.
- Establish Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and monitor performance against agreed KPIs.
- Conduct regular operational reviews with 3PL partners to improve service quality.
- Drive cost optimization and productivity improvements across all outsourced warehouse operations.

7. Warehouse Safety, Fire & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with all warehouse safety standards and statutory regulations.
- Lead Fire & Safety audits and ensure timely closure of observations.
- Ensure availability and maintenance of fire protection systems, emergency exits, PPE, and safety equipment.
- Promote a zero-accident culture across all warehouse locations.
- Ensure adherence to ISO standards, internal policies, and regulatory compliance requirements.

8. Warehouse Audit & Governance

- Lead internal, external, customer, and statutory warehouse audits.
- Ensure complete documentation and process compliance.
- Develop corrective and preventive action plans for audit observations.
- Maintain audit readiness across all warehouse locations throughout the year.

9. SAP & Digital Warehouse Management

- Ensure accurate execution of all warehouse transactions in SAP.
- Monitor GRN, stock transfers, inventory adjustments, reservations, and dispatch transactions.
- Improve warehouse digitalization and system-driven controls.
- Coordinate with the SAP team for process enhancements and automation.
- Ensure timely MIS generation and dashboard reporting.

10. Cost Optimization & Productivity Improvement

- Develop and implement warehouse cost optimization strategies.
- Improve manpower productivity and warehouse utilization.
- Optimize storage, handling, transportation, and packaging costs.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement continuous improvement initiatives.




- Drive annual warehouse cost-saving projects.

11. Team Leadership & People Development

- Lead and manage Assistant Managers, Warehouse Officers, Supervisors, and warehouse teams across India.
- Set performance goals and KPIs for warehouse teams.
- Conduct performance reviews, coaching, and training programs.
- Build a high-performance, customer-focused warehouse organization.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous improvement.

12. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Projects, Procurement, Finance, Accounts, Planning, Quality, Customer Service, and Senior Leadership teams.
- Ensure seamless coordination for material planning, dispatch execution, and project support.
- Resolve cross-functional operational challenges proactively.

13. Risk Management & Business Continuity

- Identify operational risks across warehouse operations.
- Develop contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Ensure effective disaster recovery and emergency response planning.
- Minimize inventory loss, operational disruptions, and business risks.

Preferred Experience

- 1218+ years of experience in Warehouse and Supply Chain Management.
- Proven experience in managing multi-location warehouses across India.
- Experience in EPC, Renewable Energy, Manufacturing, Electrical, Solar, or Engineering industries.
- Robust exposure to SAP-enabled warehouse operations and 3PL management.
