The role involves hands-on development of Linux-based embedded systems, device drivers, sensor integration, hardware interfaces, and application development. The candidate will work closely with hardware, firmware, and system teams to develop and debug real-world industrial products.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain Embedded Linux applications.
2. Work on platforms such as BeagleBone Black or similar ARM-based platforms.
3. Develop and optimize embedded software using C, C++ and Python.
4. Develop and debug Linux device drivers, kernel modules and BSPs.
5. Perform board bring-up and system-level debugging.
6. Integrate sensors and hardware interfaces including:
7. I2C
8. SPI
9. UART
10. GPIO
11. ADC
12. Develop and debug CAN bus communication.
13. Work with HDMI display interfaces and embedded GUI development.
14. Optimize system performance, boot time and memory utilization.
15. Troubleshoot system-level issues using tools such as GDB, strace, perf and dmesg.
16. Collaborate with hardware, firmware and system engineering teams.
17. Prepare technical documentation and support product deployment and production activities.
Required Skills & Experience
1. 3–5 years of hands-on experience in Embedded Linux development.
2. Robust programming skills in C and C++.
3. Good working knowledge of Python.
4.
Experience with ARM-based platforms / iMX93 or similar processors.

5. Experience in system performance optimization and power management.
6. Exposure to manufacturing/product deployment environments.
