Pune

Education:

- Advanced scientific/business degree with 3+ years experience or bachelors with 5+ years experience in biopharma/biotech industry

Work experience:

- Minimum 3 years experience in R&D; in biopharma/biotech industry
- Demonstrated success operating in a global matrix organization with the full breadth of functions contributing to drug development
- Clear understanding of biosimilar development
- Advanced knowledge of project management principles
- Experience with portfolio-level reporting, milestone tracking, and/or resource management is an asset
- Exposure to financial reporting or R&D; cost steering in a project management context is an asset

Functional Goal:

Project Management Office (PMO):

- Drive execution of specific PMO processes.
- Drive the setup and implementation of new PMO processes and tools, and optimization of existing specific PM processes and tools
- Support and act as the main backup for PLM financial processes, as required.
- Contribute to the strategic evolution of the PMO toward greater digitalization, data-driven decision making, and harmonized practices across BU Biopharma.

Scope of people responsibility:

- No hierarchical responsibility, but leadership of cross-functional Project Teams composed of >6 people experts in their field.

Main Task Description:

Project Management Office Coordination & Administration:

- Communicate and coordinate about weekly project tasks for project managers (weekly calendar)
- Coordination within our project management group of the execution of established processes around reporting, risk management, objective setting, etc.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, usage of templates and update procedures as per need.
- Drive monthly tracking of competitive achievements
- Act as the Quality champion for project management,



coordinate internal audits around project management processes and for allocation of training on SOPs and WIs for project managers.
- Key User and group representative for corporate project management system (FiPS): support R&D; users, train new users, etc.
- Drive the Contracting and invoicing workflows for project activities (costs approvals, contract signatures, PO creation, Good Receipts, invoicing, etc.)

Strategic PMO:

- Track and report on project milestones and timelines across the R&D; portfolio, providing leadership with explicit visibility on schedule adherence and early warnings on at-risk deliverables
- Support Resource Management and Capacity Planning activities, monitoring workload distribution across project teams and flagging constraints to PLM leadership
- Create, maintain and update the development blueprints and FiPS templates (costs and timelines), in line with latest benchmark learnings ; actively consolidate and enrich the benchmark database to strengthen the blueprint feedback loop.
- Contribute to Portfolio Risk Management by identifying interdependencies between projects and supporting structured escalation workflows
- Drive Digitalization and Centralization of project and process information consolidating milestone data, financial tracking, and portfolio reporting into single-source repositories
- Build and maintain Power BI dashboards for financial monitoring and portfolio visibility,



replacing manual trackers and enabling real-time management cockpit views
- Support Financial R&D; Steering by contributing to portfolio-level cost tracking and financial reporting in coordination with Controlling and Finance
- Contribute to further Harmonization and Standardization of PMO practices within BU Biopharma, including governance frameworks and reporting standards
- Actively explore and pilot innovations in project management, including the use of AI tools, to evolve internal processes and enhance PMO capabilities

Job Specific Competencies & Skills:

- Excellent organizational skills are an absolute must
- Entrepreneurial spirit and action/results driven
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong interpersonal, networking and relationship skills required, including listening skills
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs and project management tools.
- Proficiency in Power BI as well as experience with Planisware (FiPS) are strong assets
- Demonstrated experience or strong interest in digitalization initiatives and data-driven reporting
- Familiarity with AI tools applied to project management or business processes is a plus

Languages:

- Fluency in English essential, both oral and written; additional languages (German or French) are an asset
