Key Responsibilities

- Conduct DFMA and DFT reviews for PCBAs during design and NPI phases.
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure manufacturable and scalable product designs.
- Support component selection, alternate component qualification, and supply chain risk mitigation activities.
- Optimize PCB layout, assembly processes, and manufacturing workflows to improve production efficiency.
- Drive first-pass yield improvement and defect reduction initiatives across prototypes and production builds.
- Interface with EMS suppliers during prototype, EVT, DVT, PVT, and pilot production builds.
- Review and recommend stencil designs, panelization strategies, assembly methods, and process controls.
- Support product validation, reliability testing, and qualification builds.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities for manufacturing issues.
- Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and process guidelines per process
- Drive cost reduction, localization, and value engineering initiatives.
- Review Gerber files, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, BOMs, and manufacturing outputs using appropriate PCB design and CAM software.

- Support introduction of current products into manufacturing while ensuring quality and delivery targets are achieved.
- Collaborate with quality, sourcing, and engineering teams to resolve product and process issues.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in PCBA manufacturing, DFMA, DFT, or NPI engineering.
- Strong understanding of SMT, THT, PCB fabrication, and electronic assembly processes.
- Experience working directly with EMS providers and contract manufacturers.
- Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC-2221, IPC-7351, etc.).
- Experience with PCB design tools such as CAM350 prefer
- Ability to review and analyze Gerber files, stack-ups, panelization, and manufacturing outputs.
- Hands-on experience in yield improvement, failure analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Familiarity with manufacturing quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and SPC.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with high-power electronics, power conversion products, or data center power systems.
