Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Azure Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform. The ideal candidate should have expertise in building data pipelines, data integration, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud-based data warehousing solutions. You will play a key role in transforming raw data into valuable business insights by developing reliable and high-performance data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines on Azure.

Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for large-scale data processing.

Develop and manage data solutions using Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics.

Create and maintain data models, datasets, and data warehouses.

Ingest data from multiple sources including APIs, databases, files, and cloud applications.

Optimize data processing performance and ensure data quality.

Implement data governance, security, and compliance standards.

Collaborate with data analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to understand requirements.

Monitor and troubleshoot production data pipelines and workflows.

Support CI/CD deployment and automation of data engineering solutions.

Required Skills

Robust experience in Azure Data Engineering.

Hands-on expertise with:





Azure Data Factory (ADF)

Azure Databricks

Azure Synapse Analytics

Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)

Azure SQL Database

Azure Blob Storage

Strong proficiency in SQL and performance tuning.

Experience in Python or PySpark development.

Knowledge of ETL/ELT design and implementation.

Experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.

Exposure to Delta Lake, Spark, and big data processing frameworks.

Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of data security, governance, and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate (DP-203) certification preferred.

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have

Experience with Power BI and data visualization tools.

Knowledge of Snowflake, Fabric, or other cloud data platforms.

Experience with streaming technologies such as Azure Event Hub or Kafka.

Exposure to Machine Learning and MLOps concepts.
